And not all contributions are valuable. Some effort are spent with barely any benefit to anybody.
Beta process is not for people to do whatever they want (that's what draft and kumites are for), it's for potential CW material to be published. Think of it as something like academic journals reviewing and accepting papers. So if it's low quality, it doesn't matter if you spent a year on making the kata: it's still garbage and should be rejected.
I don't think it's a fight. I think it's my contribution.
