      Why does this work with no function/return statement? Could I do this with other katas or is there something about this kata that means a function/return statement isn't necessary? Thanks

      It's not a hard work but a clever work for that the author need to code and copy the result which cover the test cases.

      So it's a good job.

      If it bothered u, u can just scroll it down and pass it for only 3 seconds.

      But I'd like to see the real code producing the dict.

      He uses the numbers generated in the Range to determine how many times to Repeat 1 in each consecutive resulting array.
